The queen of Sheba has been called a variety of names by different peoples in different times. To King Solomon, she was the Queen of Sheba. In Islamic tradition she was called Bilqis, Balqis, Balquis, or Bilqays, who say she came from the city of Sheba, also called Mareb, in Yemen or Arabia Felix.

Balqis Residence comprises a mixed-use residential and serviced apartment complex on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah. The design of the project is inspired by the values and symmetry of traditional Arab architecture.

Balqis Residence includes standard freehold residences and fully furnished suites. Within the residential development, are 34 palatial, four and five bedroom sea-facing villas with private pools, landscaped gardens and enclosed three car garages. There are also elegant townhouses, again with private pools, landscaped gardens and enclosed three car garages as standard. Penthouses and a range of apartments, complete the residential offering.

Balqis Suites offer the owner flexibility within a fully furnished, operated and managed enclave. Investors can cede their property within a balanced rental management program whilst still retaining usage rights for when they visit Dubai.

A beach club, several pools, luxurious landscaping, shops, restaurant and convenience store are planned for the resort.
